By now, you probably know that students in the state of Illinois are all-but-a-monopoly in the pursuit of standardized test scores.
That’s because they’re so well-known and popular that the Illinois state board of education, which runs schools, requires them to get standardized tests.
As the Wall Street Journal points out, there are currently around 1,500 students enrolled at all of the state’s four-year schools, with about 10 percent of them scoring at or above a 100 on the ACT.
And if you think that’s not enough, there’s another thing that’s going on with all of these students: the high schools.
