Bowie high schools principal Robert McPherson said a suspect was in custody.
“He’s in custody,” McPhearson said.
“It’s just a matter of time.
I don’t want to make any promises.”
McPhesons remarks came as a news release from the U.S. Marshals Service was released, saying the suspect was an armed suspect.
The suspect is believed to be in his mid-20s.
Police said they did not release a description of the suspect.
“Bowie High is a community of faith and we are always striving to offer our students the opportunity to learn and grow through positive interactions and friendships,” the release read.
