Former schoolteacher to be charged with child sex trafficking


A former Westminster High School teacher who worked with underage boys has been charged with trafficking and sex trafficking.

The indictment is unsealed Wednesday in Manhattan federal court.

Aubrey Lee Mathers, 45, is accused of using his positions as a teacher at Weston High School and a high school in the Bronx to lure at least six boys into his home and to perform sexual acts with them.

The alleged victims were 18 years old or younger at the time of the offenses, authorities said.

They include:Aubry Lee Muths, 48, of Westmoreland Street in the West Village; John P. Muth, 40, of the Bronx; John M. Sutter, 36, of Manhattan; Joseph Muth and James Muth; James M. Larkin, 43, of Bedford, N.Y.; David Muth.

Michael Muth is also charged with sexual assault of a child; John L. M. Mather, 41, of Brooklyn; and James P. O’Brien, 42, of New Rochelle, N
