— A high school student at a Tennessee high school has been suspended after an argument between two classmates erupted into a brawl.
The incident happened on the third day of school on Monday.
The fight broke out between a seventh-grader and another student at Tottenville High School in Nashville, according to the school district.
The eighth-graders, who are both eighth-graders, were in a group, which led to a physical fight between the two groups.
The student who was fighting the other student was arrested and charged with disorderly conduct, according a statement from the school.
The other student who got involved was suspended from school.
Both students were arrested and released.
The school district is investigating.
